Every time the government health officials announce a new and sharp decrease in their recommendations for high blood pressure levels this means a drastic and life changing effect to millions of people.

It means now millions more Americans will now be told by their doctors that they no longer pass the "safe zone" for their blood pressure and will be encouraged to begin a costly life-long dependence on drugs.

According to the nation's top alternative physicians and other experts, most people can lower their blood pressure into the "safety zone" without resorting to drugs.

Having high blood pressure is definitely a scary concept. There are so many conditions and diseases you are at a higher risk of developing with a high blood pressure, and they're all serious. Another good blood pressure remedy is to look into the stress and pressure you have in your life. Regardless of how little or how much stress you have in your life, being able to identify it will be a big help. Once you are able to identify the stress in your life for what it is, you can then go about the business of dealing with it more effectively.

You may not be able to avoid stressful situations, but you can change the way you react to them. Getting worked up, worried, and anxious is not good for you, and furthermore it doesn't do any good either. Anxiety is a major cause for high blood pressure for people. Make no mistake about it - if there is stress in your life, chances are you are reacting negatively to at least some of it.

Keeping a healthy weight is also a good blood pressure remedy. Obesity in itself can cause a high blood pressure, even if you are doing everything else right, because your heart has to work harder to get your blood where it needs to go. Healthy nutrition therefore may also be good blood pressure remedies.


Natural Blood Pressure Remedies

Some natural blood pressure remedies to consider are: Konjac fiber (most commonly known as Glucomannan), Ashwagandha with Withania somnifera Extract, Magnesium Gluconate (500-1000 milligrams), Coenzyme Q10, Hawthorn, Garlic (as much as possible, 2-3 cloves a day minimum).

Of course, it is always a good idea to ask your doctor about blood pressure remedies as well.

If you have been diagnosed with high blood pressure, or hypertension, it would be convenient for you to have your own blood pressure monitor at home. This way you can keep a better track of how you are doing.

If you have extremely high blood pressure you may need medication in addition to the above blood pressure remedies.
